The best way remain to raise it while you're raising your spells to 100. It also raise by itself while you train Dodge, Parry and Lockpicking. If you play a thief hybrid, a good way to raise intelligence is to pick nose rather than the town's doors, but I'm not sure it can raise to 100 this way. The best way would be to mix both techniques. So when you'll begin raising your magic spells, your strength should raise by itself while you are earning the money. It is also complementary if your hybrid has magic, because you need a lot of money to buy all the magic potions required to raise your spells to 100 and the quickest way to earn money is at the goblin camp. It is very long, but eventually it will reach 100. The long way is to raise it at the goblin camp, constantly thrust and slash. However, I have no idea if you can reach a perfect 100 this way since I never use that method because it is a bit troublesome as you can only train once per day (so it's important to start early and train every days), you must make sure you lose (easy at the begining, more complicated when your skills are near the 100), it leave you completly drained in stamina (not very great early in the game), and it cost you money. Every training are easily 2 strength points, even when you've passed the 90 points barrier. So if some of the trick I give you don't work, it might be because you're using a different version.Ī good way to raise Strength is to train with the weapon master in the castle and voluntary lose before beating him so he accept to train you the next day. After this one, go and the play the game's sequel, Q uest for glory 2.I raised my five 100 skilled characters ready for QFG2VGA with the VGA version of QFG1 as I encountered some skill raising problem with my EGA version. In the end, we get a fantastic adventure game fit for all ages and one that is genre defining and memory making. The game's music is unfortunately not as good as the rest of the game, but is still pretty okay. This is the remake of the original, and now has improved VGA graphics that really do look splendid, colorful and detailed. The game is fantastically played with a point and click gameplay and is filled with good humor, action and puzzle solving, all first class level. This game is the first Sierra to let the player choose a hero from three classes - Fighter, Magic user and Thief. What is great about this game is that is successfully incorporates humor, puzzle solving in a typical Sierra humour. This is a VGA remake of the 1989 adventure game and the first in this great series, followed by four more, each directly connected with each other. Throw in some clever puzzles and lots of variety, and you have a wonderful way to while away a Sunday afternoon. The new graphics are pretty lush, with lots of detail and great use of color, while the interface makes navigation a breeze. The humor is broad but genuinely amusing for the most part, with the story having fun with the usual fantasy cliches and which proves highly entertaining. This remake features much improved visuals as well as significant improvements to the interface, all of which help to make the game an absolute must play if you want a great fantasy adventure.
This is a mix of pointing-and-clicking, exploration, puzzle solving, combat and conversation and it's this variety which is core to the game's appeal. You start by picking a class, which affects things like combat and certain events and puzzles, before moving on to the game proper. This is where you come in, as a would-be adventurer out to save the day. The story takes itself less than seriously and tells a nice little tale of a fantasy land troubled by witches, brigands and other such annoyances, and which requires a hero to sort things out. This one mixes in RPG elements to the familiar point-and-click gameplay, making it richer and deeper than the likes of Discworld in many ways, and which helps broaden the appeal. This version however, is probably the one to go for, as it features vastly improved graphics which make the whole experience much more interesting. The original Quest for Glory is a charming little adventure, very much in the light-hearted vein of Space Quest and which makes for an entertaining romp.
